mentalalchemy:7 Principles of Alchemy from the Kybalion
http://www.sacred-texts.com/eso/kyb/index.htm
^Link to where the info came fromI. The Principle of Mentalism – “The ALL is MIND; The Universe is Mental.”
II. The Principle of Correspondence - “As above, so below; as below, so above.”
III. The Principle of Vibration – “Nothing rests; everything moves; everything vibrates.”
IV. The Principle of Polarity - “Everything is Dual; everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposites; like and unlike are the same; opposites are identical in nature, but different in degree; extremes meet; all truths are but half-truths; all paradoxes may be reconciled”
V. The Principle of Rhythm – “Everything flows, out and in; everything has its tides; all things rise and fall; the pendulum-swing manifests in everything; the measure of the swing to the right is the measure of the swing to the left; rhythm compensates.”
VI. The Principle of Cause and Effect – “Every Cause has its Effect; every Effect has its Cause; everything happens according to Law; Chance is but a name for Law not recognized; there are many planes of causation, but nothing escapes the Law.”
VII. The Principle of Gender – “Gender is in everything; everything has its Masculine and Feminine Principles; Gender manifests on all planes.”
————- Highly recommend checking out the Kybalion… I consider myself an alchemist and student of hermetic wisdom…and damn proud of it!

I am mentally and emotionally drained today. Humans make the same mistakes and keep perpetuating the same hateful practices no matter what history has taught us. We don’t make any progress due to hypocrisy, prejudice, bigotry and religious views. It sad to see we will haven’t learned.
Through all of this all I can do is keep a positive spirit and work toward the betterment of myself and the people I come in contact with.
Peace and be positive…
“Africa actually enriches Europe; but Africa is made to believe that it needs Europe to rescue it from poverty. Africa’s natural and human resources continue to develop Europe and America, but Africa is made to feel grateful for aid from the same quarters that still sit on the back of the continent. Africa even produces intellectuals who now rationalise this upside-down way of looking at Africa”

In Stamps, Arkansas, I heard so often, “Sister Henderson. I know you’ve got guests. Here’s a pan of biscuits.”
“Sister Henderson, Mama sent a half a cake for your visitors.”
“Sister Henderson, I made a lot of macaroni and cheese. Maybe this will help with your visitors.”
My grandmother would whisper her thanks and finally when the family and guests sat down at the table, the offerings were so different and plentiful it appeared that days had been spent preparing the meal.” —

We no longer have the community we need to survive….

I think this is still true (although maybe on a lesser level) today.
